Offline and Online Conversion Reporting

Conversion Tracker are the most powerful tool for tracking online to offline conversions in mobile advertising. By tracing a virtual conversion tracer  around a physical location, we can measure the amount of physical traffic driven to the location that have previously been served their ad.

How Conversion Tracker Works?

A virtual geo-fence is traced around an area where you want to target customers visiting another physical location (i.e a competitor’s store, a venue, or a specific part of town, etc.)

Next, a virtual Conversion Tracker is traced around one or more of the the advertiser’s locations.

When the customer enters the geo-fenced location, they will then be targeted with the advertiser’s ads on their mobile device.

When the customer enters the Conversion Tracker with their mobile device and has previously been served the advertiser’s ad, the Conversion Tracker recognizes the user and attributes their visit as an offline conversion for the geo-fencing campaign.

Our Offline reporting includes:

  • Impressions
  • Total Spend
  • Clicks
  • View Through Visits
  • Click Through Visits
  • Total Visit Rate (TVR)
  • Cost Per Visit
  • Daily Visits
  • Daily Total Conversion Zone

Local Geo-Fencing Programmatic Advertising FAQ's

What is Geo-Fencing and How Does it Work?

Geofencing advertising, also known as geofencing marketing, involves creating a virtual boundary around a specific location, triggering predefined rules when a mobile device enters or exits that area. Geofencing mobile ads are commonly delivered through display or push notifications, conveying locally relevant messages to consumers. The determination of a device entering the geofence is typically based on GPS technology.

Our Addressable Targeting puts over 126 million U.S. households within your reach at a 90%+ match rate. We use the market’s most advanced, household-level targeting technology which uses property tax information and plat line maps. Addressable targeting combines GPS and platline data with geo-fencing technology that lets you customize your targeting down to a specific address. Companies can employ addressable geofencing either independently or in conjunction with other paid advertising techniques such as PPC or direct mail.

How well does geofencing work?

The effectiveness of geofencing is closely tied to the strategy crafted for it.

The achievement of your geofences hinges on various factors such as the size of your fencing, the appeal of your advertising, the size of your audience, and more. To optimize results with geofencing, invest time in developing, testing, and consistently monitoring your strategy and ad creatives.

Where do my ads show up?

Our technology partners with over 150k mobile apps, thousands of CTV apps, and website domains reaching over 450M devices globally every month to ensure you reach your consumers in the right place at the right time. Our ad supply shows up as mobile banner ads and video ads within these apps.

What reporting capabilities are available for my campaigns?

Summary report
See daily performance of the campaign for the following metrics: Impressions, Clicks, CTR, Reach, Visits, etc. and view data at the campaign, placement, and creative levels and filter for a specific date range.

Location Reporting
Location Reporting provides a breakdown of campaign performance by geographic boundaries as well as store-level visitation performance.

Audience Insights Reporting
Audience Insights reporting provides users with a breakdown of campaign performance by audience segment, independent of campaign targeting, as well as campaign metric composition by audience segments. For example, understand which GroundTruth Behavioral Audiences were matched to specific campaign impressions, clicks, visits, etc. You can see that campaigns are driving visitation from Millennial Moms even if reaching Millennial Moms wasn’t part of your targeting strategy.

Video Quartile Reporting
See how many people viewed video ads broken out by quartile viewed. I.e. Once your videos run, you can see the number of views that reach each quartile: Start | First Quartile | Midpoint | Third Quartile | Video Complete | Video Completion Rate.

Reporting by Product and POIs
See how targeting tactics and GroundTruth products are performing. You can also drill into performance by POI (place of interest) at the campaign, ad group and creative level.

How many addresses can you target with addressable geofencing?

The number of addresses you can target with geofencing solutions depends on the software.

Our addressable geofencing services can target up to one million addresses per campaign.

As an example, you could have Campaign A with one million addresses, Campaign B with 500,000 addresses, and Campaign C with 10,000 addresses or any other number combination equal to or less than one million.

What is Proximity Targeting?

Proximity Targeting is a geomarketing technique that uses mobile location services to reach consumers in real-time when they are around a store location or point of interest. This is done by defining a radius around a specific location.

If a consumer has opted into location services on their mobile phone and enters within this radius, proximity targeting allows you to trigger an advertisement or message to that consumer in an effort to influence their behavior. For example, if you are a restaurant and you want to target consumers within a one-mile radius, you could set up proximity targeting around your restaurant so when consumers walk into that radius they will be served an advertisement.

What type of creative should I use?

The most popular ad creative sizes are 320×50, 300×250, 320×480 for mobile phones and 728×90 tablets. Please speak to our team for more information, including desktop and Connected TV creatives.
