An award-winning Orlando digital marketing company is looking for interns to LEARN, EXPERIENCE and WORK on multiple online marketing projects, which cover a full range of media.
You will learn the new trends of online marketing, social media marketing, inbound marketing, guerilla marketing, and more. This is a great experience for someone who is very interested in learning new technology and how it is driving new trends in marketing.

Founded by a senior engineer who was recruited by Google and an award-winning journalist, Chatter Buzz Media is a full-service Orlando, Florida digital marketing firm specializing in website design, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing and content creation. The company won Social Madness, a social media engagement contest, for the Orlando small business category.

Writing: You may support client demand through the creation of articles, e-newsletters, advertorials, speeches, annual reports, sales letters, press releases, marketing collateral, ebooks, web content, blog posts, letters, resumes, optimized LinkedIn profiles, e-newsletters and other communication products for magazines, corporate and individual clients.

Editorial Support: You may assist in interviewing sources, conducting editorial research, fact-checking, proofing and editing.

Social Media: You may assist in researching and developing social media strategies, setting up social media accounts, creating content for social media, plus managing and monitoring social media efforts and analytics.

Design: You may assist in creating graphics including infographics, creating marketing collateral, developing websites, designing ebooks, ads and more.

Internet: You may research key words and optimize web copy for SEO.

PR: You may write news releases, create press kits, develop media lists, pitch to the media, engage in follow-up activities, help arrange interviews and press conferences and more.

Sales: You may research information for prospects, leads and clients; engage in sales calls, meetings, presentations and trade shows; manage accounts, and provide customer support.

Video: You may shoot and edit videos and webinars, upload to platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo, optimize channels for SEO, write video scripts and more.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Chatter Buzz interns must have superior writing, research, social media and customer service skills, plus flawless phone etiquette. Must have superb ability to communicate professionally via e-mail and be computer. Must be detail-oriented, creative, have a sense of humor and be familiar with Microsoft Word.
Preferred Spanish-speaking and writing skills, and proficiency using Excel, GoogleDocs, and WordPress. Video marketing, marketing and sales, and presentation experience a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in SEO
  • Broad range of all SEO skills (keyword research, technical audits, etc)
  • VERY organized and great at managing deadlines
  • Comfortable playing execution roles, as well as driving strategy
  • Strong in Google Analytics (Google Analytics Certification is a PLUS)
  • Full awareness of industry trends and comfortable writing opinions about them
  • Experienced in managing client relationships
  • Willingness to help develop internal processes to maximize efficiency
  • Ability to measure the effectiveness of strategy (rankings, traffic, conversions, campaigns) on client goals
  • Advanced understanding of Excel (esp. pivot tables)
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO (JavaScript, CSS, iframes, etc.)
  • Experience in Local/Video/Feed optimization (a major plus!)
  • International SEO experience (also a plus)

As a Web Analytics Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring all websites and marketing campaigns built by Chatter Buzz Media are launched with properly functioning analytics.  This responsibility will also extend to standalone SEO customers.  Your job will be to implement analytics and troubleshoot problems to ensure configuration is correct, data is accurate, and timely reporting is established within the deliverables of those associated products.

This job requires a deep understanding of analytics, particularly Google Analytics.  It also requires an extreme attention to detail along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in analytics implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Fluent in Google Analytics (Google Analytics Certification is a PLUS)
  • Proficiency in other analytics platforms strongly preferred, such as Omniture, etc.
  • Experience in advanced web analytics methodologies, such as experimentation and A/B testing, competitive analysis, surveys, and market research.
  • Knowledge in online products: Web, PPC, SEO, Social Media, Email Blast, Email campaigns, and E-commerce.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, including ability for organized and timely updates, empathy, and ability to communicate with customers on complex issues via phone or email.
  • Strong analytical skills and a capacity for creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently, to organize and prioritize multiple project responsibilities, and to produce quality work under deadline pressure.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team setting or independently.​

Responsibilities

  • Implement and test Google Analytics for all customer website and standalone SEO projects.
  • Experience setting up advanced Google Analytics profiles and filters
  • Significant client-facing, Account Management experience
  • Deep experience with a host of tools including: Google Analytics, Omniture (Coremetrics, Webtrends, or Unica a plus)
  • Ensure complete purchase and visitor lifecycle is captured, including visits and eCommerce data.
  • Work in close collaboration with Analytics Product and Post-launch Customer Care Analytics stakeholders to ensure best practices are established, followed, and are scalable.
  • Manage all Google Analytics accounts, ensuring standard naming convention, goal setting, and tracking across all client sites.
  • Create standardized, time sensitive, automated reports for distribution to key client stakeholders allowing for timely decision making and comparable data analysis over time.
  • Perform in-depth analysis as requested around KPI’s, visitor performance, campaigns, and cross-channel performance.
  • Implement third-party Web Analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Omniture, etc., using JavaScript and HTML coding, including codes for JackRabbit, DoubleClick, DART tags, in-house tracking code and Social Networks campaigns.
  • Perform measurement, analysis, and reporting of web and campaign performance metrics from Google Adwords and Google Analytics.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of new processes and procedures within the Web Operations department and with other departments.

Chatter Buzz Media has been one of the Fastest Growing Companies in Orlando. Not only does this mean that we need to move to Downtown Orlando to fit our growing team, but the content needs for our clients are growing as well.

We’re currently looking to expand our network of talented writers to help us build quality content for:

  • Guest Posts on topical industry blogs.
  • Copy for client websites and microsites – Knowledge and experience with SEO is preferred here.
  • Random content assignments here and there.

As of now, there are about 5-10 content assignments available per week; we expect this number to also grow!

What are we looking for?

Attention to detail – We don’t want to have to scour your work for grammar issues or nonsensical statements and thoughts. Writing is your craft; make sure it is done well.

Timeliness – We have deadlines, and we like to stick to them. You should too!

Flexibility – Sometimes a blogger whose blog we’re publishing on wants certain edits to a piece; other times a client will want the voice changed in the piece to reflect their voice. You need to be able to ride with the waves.
